I can think of four possible causes (and I think everyone here has covered at least one of them):
1) He does not like jewelry.
2) He does not like COPPER jewelry (for turning his arm green, etc.)
3) He does not believe that it will work for his problem.
4) He does not like to receive gifts.
If it were me, I would say it's a combination of the first two more than the third. But that's only how I would think about it.
If it were my dad, I would say that it would be a combination of all of the above. My dad usually does not like to get gifts. Of course, I intend to be more receptive to my children.
But if I were you, I would not read too much into his rejection of your present. You might try getting him something you think he would find useful or amusing, or cooking him something delicious, or something like that instead of the bracelet. And of course give him a warm greeting every time you see him. Good night!

I do hope that diagnosis was confirmed by x-ray. There are many wrist and and hand problems, besides arthritic problems. Mal-alignment of the bones of the wrist will have a defined effect on the hand also. This can be caused by occupation or poor positioning at the computer.. The danger is; if it is not arthritic in its origin, it will accumulate crystallization in the inflamed area and will become arthritic. Is the body's way of protecting an area.
It would be beneficial to have confirmation of the condition but, even if not properly treated, will find easing of symptoms by using copper. Would be more proper to receive appropriate treatment for the condition.

money is a concern for him. He can not have the money for to purchase you vegetation and nonetheless get by utilising. i've got been in his footwear in the previous and understand the way it feels. whether he needs to purchase something, he purely isn't waiting to. you're asking him to purchase something for you so which you would be chuffed for a speedy time and having him starve for a week. it somewhat is noticeably egocentric of you to try this. somewhat of asking him to purchase you issues, make him spend time with you or purely call you extra..purely something that may not value him money that he would not have. If he does supply you something now and back, or maybe purely can pay for a meal, be grateful that he has sacrificed something that he has little or no of. I bear in mind days that I had to discover all of the money I had in the homestead purely so i will get sufficient gasoline topersistent to work out my gf (now ex) for a pair hours, then flow homestead and sleep with an empty abdomen. i'm specific she additionally felt the kind you sense now. yet you have not any thought what he's already given up for you.

Well, maybe your dad doesn't believe in folk remedies. The benefits (if any) of wearing a copper bracelet have not been scientifically proven. Alternatively, perhaps your dad thinks that it just isn't cool to wear such a bracelet, or that wearing a bracelet is not very masculine, or is associated with elderly persons.

Some guys just don't like jewelerry! It's abit of a homeopathic remedy, surely if this is a problem for your Dad the Doc can suggest something better. Apparently there are watches that contain magnets that may be of some benefit, perhaps he'd be willing to try one of those?! :o)

The mind can cure a lot of things if you simply believe it will work. However, the QRay bracelet company lost a class action law suit and has been ordered to pay customers $87 million in refunds.

Question for a question.
Does he wear any other jewelry? Specifically bracelets.
I wouldn't wear one either because I don't like stuff around my wrist (including my watch, but I am forced to wear it).
Perhaps he equates it as being to feminine. Maybe you can find something more masculine or less obtrusive.

he may feel insecure about wearing it because people might assume he has health issues.
for men, i think it's important for them to feel strong at all times. and a copper bracelet might make him feel weak in certain ways, even if it would be very beneficial.
