For colour schemes, why not go all out in her favourite colour?
Food ideas: pizza, pop, cake, and chips. A classic.

Have all the adult there (if any ) bring a picture of themselves when they were 16. It's funny. Make a poster of her life up until this point. Make it a celebration of her life, personality and achievements. She will love it.
