My boyfriend got drunk last night and told me he was going to marry me on our 1 year anniversury which is next month but he didnt remember saying it this morning should I just forget he said it or believe him

he evidentually had it on his mind. my father was an alcoholic and if you wanted to know the truth about something all you had to do was get him drunk. i know several people that drink and when they are drunk they will tell you anything they wouldnt say sober and when you checkit out it 'strue. talk to him about it, he has it on his mind this was just any easy wayto ask incase he got turned down he wouldnt remember it.

He remembers, he just isn't sure now that he's sober if it's such a good idea. he's afraid how it will affect his way of life. Forget it this time for your own good but let him know that being drunk will not ever be an acceptable excuse for what is a lie. If he continues to get drunk expect many more Lie's

One man will say when the person is drunk, he's free with his tongue and the truth. And I've heard of the old tale where the woman married her husband while he's drunk. And I don't know how it turned out.

Most people are more honest and open while drunk, because their guard is down. So he probably does want to marry you. But some thing is holding him back. Just come out and ask him what it is.

Forget it. Most people get overly emotional when they're drunk. Also, drunk people tend to make promises they don't keep. Talk to him about when you're both sober.

i wouldn't take it literally that he is going to marry you on your anniversary, but he has been thinking about marrying you. when that will come about, who knows. i do think that there is truth in what drunk people say. i know i don't lie when i'm drunk and i often have the tendency to say exactly what i think.
