no, the snails are actually being helpful to you. the only way a snail will eat a fish is if the fish is dead. then, its fair game as food for the snails or other fish.
you should try to figure out why your fish are dying---what's wrong with the water? is your pH right? filters working ok? proper temperature? proper oxygenation of the water? feeding the right amount--not too much, not too little?
also, you should remove a fish as soon as its dead. while the snails may like dining on fish instead of algae, its better for your aquarium as a whole if the dead fish are taken out and flushed.
your snails are doing you a favor--don't get rid of them!

Actually your snails are doing what snails do best. Snails are natures little garbage collectors. If you do not want your snails or you would like to control their population then I would suggest getting clown loaches. They absolutely adore eating snails and have bar bells like corys for doing it. They are wonderful schooling fish with distinct personalities that are really fun to watch. But be warned, loaches love to sleep laying down like we do and until you get used to that behavior you might mistake them for being sick.
Good Luck! I've included a website in case you wanted more information about loaches and their behaviors.

Snails only eat small dead fish. It's your water that is killing the fish, do you have a filter if the tank is big and what type of water are you using?

Your fish died. Your snails are decomposing it.
You should take better care of your fish. Are you doing water changes regularly? Fish need a stable enviroment.

Adjust the lighting in your aquarium so that it is blue. This causes snails to switch from a carnivorus diet to a more peaceful one. Also, increase the oxygen levels in the water and decrease the amount of sunlight.

Eat one of the snails to teach the other ones a lesson. Put plenty of salt on it beforehand so they can see it squirm.
