The boss's name on the comic strip "Dilbert" is "--------" what?? One of my teachers looks exactly like him but I want to at least be able to tell him that he looks like (the name of the boss) rather than "Dilbert's boss".

Pointy-Haired Boss is the only name the strip has ever had for him. (I think it's the name of the breed, like Wire-Haired Terrier.) You could try going to Dilbert.com, but IIRC, that's what they say there. BTW, I feel sorry for you. I sure hope your teacher doesn't act anything like him.

Haven't read in the comic strip that he has a name. Hope he doesn't have the efficiency, personality of one.
