Your wife is crazy wacko. Gaylord is bad enough. Apple Turner though? C'mon. If you're just messin' with us, good job. Unfortunately, I've heard so many funky names in the past few years that Gaylord Apple Turner isn't too big of a stretch.

It is a difficult job trying to come up with a name, especially one that is unique and classic at the same time. Gaylord is always a bad choice and your wife needs to understand how cruel kids can be. This has NOTHING to do with her taste, just open her eyes to "apple turnover" possibilities and "gay apple turnover" (which is the first thing that popped in my head to be honest). It's about the child, a name that will be his for life and let's let Celeb's name their kids after fruit, your wife can be more original than Apple and you can offer suggestions.

Gaylord.......uh...NO! Apple is ok I like that name. Try to convince her to name it something else with Apple, I really think that it would be a cute name for a boy. I really think that Gaylord is over the top of being classical, it is classic, so leave it there. I feel that you should be able to name your child whatever you want, but you both should have a choice in it. Take my kids for example, each one my husband picked the 1st name and I chose the middle names, whether he liked them or not, that is what it is. Of course now he wants me to change them, except for our newest one, but I think that it should be a shared experience, don't let her take over. And it really is ok if you do not like that name, let her know and ask her if it is ok to compromise with you each choosing a name that you both agree (or disagree) on. Decide who will choose the 1st and middle name and stick to it. Make sure that it sounds good together and is not something that they will be made fun of later in school. It really can't be a pregnancy thing because most woman want to share in the naming of the child. Well, whatever you decide to do, good luck to you and your wife! Congratulations!

Though Gaylord is a classical name -
GAYLORD
Gender: Masculine
Usage: English
Pronounced: GAY-lord
From a surname which was derived from Old French gaillard "high-spirited".
You should also be forward that is also modern slang for a homosexual male too.

Breeze is a huge call for a woman yet no longer plenty for a boy. try Blake instead, that's an unusual call and he won't get bullied for it. Breeze sounds too female despite the fact that that's a pleasing call, we could desire you have twins so which you will it :)

Your wife sounds like she has a great sense of humor, but lets hope it stays in the humor stage, not the reality stage.
