congress passed Military Commission bill, S. 3930 yesterday, which has one provison in which Bush pardons himself and other government officals for any war crimes that may have been commited since 9/11. can the president legally pardon himself? and if so, it does raise some ethical questions.

I called on the phone long distance to my representatives in Washington DC and said I was not supportive of the lawless legislation. I believed the phone call was worth it. Congress has yet betrayed us badly again.

Hey WAKE UP...the Constitution has been rendered null and void this week and in small chunks since 9/11. The Supreme court are the ones that told them to go write these new laws...the congress rubber stamped them and presto chango we are now living in a Military Dictatorship. Wiretaps and mass detentions to follow...probably starting next week.

Have you read the Constitution? If not, why not? After all, the object was to preserve freedom, and logically it couldn't do that if it were written in some kind of code only a few could understand, and it certainly seems to be written simply enough that a 12 year old could comprehend what it says.

Why ask us what's Constitutional? Just read it for yourself.
