He's indisposed at the moment. His name showed up on my caller ID while I was in the shower, but I just barely managed to pick it up as he was hanging up. I tried to call him again and just got the same old recorded message from the monastery again.
The day after he disappeared, a bottle floated up the drain in my bathtub. The little slip of paper inside said "gone to the edge."
