I am needing to know this for my college comp.I class. I also need to know if there is a death penalty in Canada and how often it has been used if there is.

I THINK I saw the Anarchist's cookbook in a store in Toronto a few weeks ago. At least, I saw a heckuva lot of anarchist books in there.
I don't think many books are banned outright in Canada, unless they are pornography of certain types (snuff, pedophilia, etc.)

And to my knowledge, no. No death penalty. That's why American criminals sometimes flee to Canada if they've committed an offence that earns the death penalty in their own State. Canada won't extradite someone to a certain death penalty.

I can't recall if we USED to have one, sorry.
