Hi all, I started selling on Ebay on 8/25. On 8/31 they deducted their fees from my account. Then again on 9/11 they took out additional fees. So, my question is... does anyone know how often they take out their fees? Is it once monthy, like should I expect it around the last day of the month or closer to the 11th like this month? Thanks so much in advance!

You can make a payment or change your payment method at any time by going to the Seller Account section in My eBay. Learn more about making a one-time payment and updating your monthly automatic payments.

eBay offers four methods for you to pay your selling fees:

PayPal (monthly and one-time payments)
Direct Pay from your checking account (monthly and one-time payments)
Credit card (monthly and one-time payments)
Check or money order (one-time payments)

You'll need to pay your invoice balance in full each month to keep your account current. If you don’t keep your account current, your account may be suspended for non-payment and you may be responsible for collection costs. The payment due date is determined by the date eBay generates your invoice (either the 15th of the month or the last day of the month). For information on payment requirements, late fees, and payment schedules, see Your Payment Due Date.

Your invoice will include your previous month's account activity as well as any past due amounts. Your full payment is due by the next invoice date. For example, if you receive an invoice on May 20th, your payment is due by June 15th.

Important: You do not need to make a payment if you have an automatic payment method on file. To find out if you have an automatic payment method on file already, or if you need to make a one time payment, look at the Payment section of your invoice.

Your payment will be automatically processed and your payment due date met if you:

Have a valid credit card on file.
Are signed up for PayPal automatic payments.
Are signed up for eBay Direct Pay payments.
If you do not have any of these payment options on your account, you will need to make a payment by the next invoice date. This will keep your account current. Learn more about how to make a one time payment or add an automatic payment method to your account.

We sold something on ebay once. I think the way it works is that they take out a fee when you put the item up and also when the item sells they take a certain percentage of what it sells for. I don't think they should just keep taking fees out.
