Fox announces plans for a new network, called "My Network TV" the network will initially run on UPN and WB affiliates who are not incuded in the CW merger.

March 11
ITV launch a CiTV channel, which will broadcast during the downtime hours of ITV4

March 17
United States premiere of the new series of Doctor Who on Sci-Fi's Friday-night lineup.

April 1
Kids Choice Awards are aired on Nickelodeon with special slimed guest, Robin Williams. The event was hosted by Jack Black.

April 7
12.6 million viewers watch long-running Coronation Street character Mike Baldwin die in the arms of his long-time rival, Ken Barlow.

April 19
ITV launch ITV Play, a new 24/7 participation TV channel, on Freeview in the United Kingdom. It will launch on other platforms later in the year.

April 24
Cartoon Network TOO, a new cartoon channel, launches at 10:15am in the UK.

May 15

Mike Wallace makes his last appearance on CBS' 60 Minutes. The WB series Charmed ends its eight year run with the final episode Forever Charmed.

Charles Gibson co-hosts Good Morning America for the last time in his 19-year run.

Yes, you missed Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert on the Comedy Channel and Bill O'Reilly lying on 20/20 about the Al Qaeda targeting him. (He's very important)

Season 3 of Deadwood. That is some damn good drama there. And next week is season 3 of Battlestar Galactica. Other than that, nothing really. If it wasn't for those shows and Rome coming back, I'd cancel my cable subscription.

I rarely watch TV. In my opinion, you did not miss anything of value. I go to movies or rent them and watch them on my TV. I do not like the regular programming or the cable/satellite programs. I do not get news from TV either. I like to read news online and I read books from the library. I can also get movies from the library.

guess you haven't read the news or read internet news either then, or you would know tv does not exist any longer. yeah, that's right. you heard me. no more tv. tv is no more. you can still purchase tv's and use them though to watch dvd movies but no more vcr's or tv's as you use to know it.

my fave's are: desperate housewives, dog, the bounty hunter,
chris angel- mind freak , cops (yes, i watch and love cops),
lifetime tv movies, my fair brady, house hunters, take home chef,
nick at night, paula's home cooking, and sell this house

The same horror stories in the news, reality shows where celebrities are trying to be something they are not, and endless commercials. You are not missing anything.
