Go by the Eurostar is cheap and convinent.
I bought a return ticket to paris this morning which was £49, a bit of a bargain.
My friend went by coach as she thought it would be the cheaper option, but it wasnt that much cheaper than a cheap eurostar ticket and it took her 10 hours to get to where she wanted to go...so not worth it!

the website is www.voyages-sncf.com (french national railroad company website), they are currently doing this paris-london roundtrip for two at 100 euros!!! not sure it works the other way around...
