I just came back from that area about 1 week ago, rode the cycle all the way down, but camped in a friends yard. I did see some motels around $29.95, but then some are as high as $80 per night. It is a high place to live due to Dollywood, but if you can get there when it's still light out, just drive down main street and watch the signs, other then that pull into some gas stations and get their advice. If it's just yourself it shouldn't be bad.

This time of year in Pigeon Forge is pretty cheap anywhere you stay. If you can try to get your room on a weekday and not a weekend as the rates do go up on weekends. Drive down mainstreet and you will find an abundance of hotels and motels.

I have been to Pigeon Forge many, many times. I never make reservations. I just drive through and look at all signs. Some offer specials of stay 2 nights get one free. Most of the signs are for one person, so remember to add $10 to whatever the sign says, unless it specifies 2 people. Plenty of places to stay. Have fun.

You can try expedia.com. I think they are running specials right now on hotels and airfare. You could also try hotels.com.
If you go to pointandtravel.com, you can access the above, and more.

Hello:
Go to http://www.grab2travel.com
Go to "Hotels" section.
Click on SmartSearch - you can enter your trip detail once and can compare rates on multiple major travelsite from one place. You dont have to enter trip detail again and again.. thats very helpful.. I liked it.
