Because no one can see what lies inside another person, we can only see whats on the outside. Thats how we judge, theres not really any other way. Physical appearance and charm are ways to express yourself, its shows how well you talk care of you body and how well you can read other people. Just because someone looks good doesnt mean there a good person, and just because someones not as good looking doesnt mean there bad. But good and bad cant be judged, and neither can what "lies inside", because everyone has different opinions on whats bad, and what lies inside can never be seen. I dont know anything about the Ted Bundy thing, sorry i cant help much.

Some people? Most people do. We are a shallow country. Its hard to just totally look past the physical and see whats on the inside.

Because, people now a days are being taught what beauty is. It isnt in the eye of the beholder anymore.... children are being taught at young ages that, Skinny is pretty, long hair is hot.... Big boobs are good... And.. Big buff-ness on guys is best! and, he has to be tall... I am a girl, and I know that it doesnt matter how much personality there really is inside... We have a dance comming up... I havent even been glanced at....Because I am not... "Pretty"... It hurts....

GOD looks at the heart, man looks at outward appearences. It just shows how easily man is decieved. Yes, Ted was a good example and a lot of others have followed in his example.

Because outside appearance is the first thing u notice about a person. And if a person has a well put together outside, then it shows that they care about themselves. Noone wants to be with someone who looks like they don't care/love themselves.

because most people are shallow, and they are shallow because society tells them to be, which makes the people in the society shallow...it is a cycle of shallowness that few manage to escape.
