I have a new pet turtle and I do not know what he/she eats.

What type of turtle? Land turtles can eat different things. Soem eat fruit, vegetables, and worms, others don't . Water turtles usually eat freeze dried shrimp and krille and fish. Both kinds eat turtle pellets too. Go to your local petstore and ask them. Maybe you should get a book on turtlles, because they are very sensitive if not properly fed or taken care of.

Turtles eat everything from insects to lettuce. However, this does not mean you can feed your pet turtle anything, i.e. table scraps, and they do require a healthy, balanced, "turtle diet." It's important that you keep a close watch on your turtle's diet, and if you own more than one turtle, make sure they both get to eat equal amounts of food. Turtles are generally messy when they eat, so keep the water clean and free of debris, as small decomposing particles of flesh can get trapped under rocks and logs and contaminate your turtle's environment. Another good practice is to feed your turtle live fish at least once a week, to make sure it gets to exercise. Turtles like to hunt, and it is also great fun to watch them dive in after small fish.

no offense, but u should of found that out when u bought the turtle not every turtle eats the same thing, find out what kind u have & get a book from the library to find out if u dont know what it eats, u probably dont know anything else, so more info would be good....

id say lettace and veggie... but I think the pets stores carry turtle food!

My husband has one at his work and they buy special turtle food at a pet store and give it a big lettuce leaf every few days.

u could buy any type of turtle food they also love lettuce,,grapes they eat watermelon that's very good they LOVE it i mean I'm 14 and i have a turtle and he loves it all becuz really its any type of fruit and vegetable
