No my boyfriend and I were too poor. We worked after school but knew the value of a dollar and wouldn't spend it on something as frivolous as a prom. I had to pay for gas for my 57 Chevy. That was when gas was only 29 cents per gallon by my wage was only $1.25 per hour.

I went to my junior prom my 11th grade year, but the guy I was gonna go with my senior year dumped me to go with someone else, so I decided that I didn't want to go. So I did not go to my senior prom. If it was anything like my junior prom, then it was really boring anyway.

Certainly not my Junior Prom, no...but I fully intend on making it to my Senior. I do love to shop for the dresses, but I don't really care for dances in particular...

No, my husband then boyfriend had been expelled from school a year before and wasn't allowed on campus. So, I ditched the prom and we spent the night watching tv in my bedroom. ^.~

No! Boyfriend had joined the service and had asked if I wanted to go and told him no because I was afraid he wouldn't be home on leave and I didn't want to go alone.
