If we spent that money on the homeless or starving in our own country than we would not have these problems. Our country wants to change the way others live because it is not our way of living and that is not freedom to me. War is a waste of money, time, and our wallets. Don't forget we are sending extremely young men and women to a hostile environment and brainwashing them to kill. If they don't get killed and come back to America their mind is all messed up with PTSD anyways. But that is how arrogant our country is. What a way to spend!!

I think it's a good investment because long term we will enjoy a much higher quality of life due to more peace for us and the world. Fact is countries like Libya and others are flat out scared of the US, so Libya has become a friend of the US. Now the US owns the night in Iraq and you never hear about the hundreds of terroists killed by our snipers, etc. Isn't it odd in five years since 9-11 we have not been attacked? I think because we are investing in violently attacking bad guys in Iraq. Bad guys respect this. when I was a paratrooper on call for a cut and run president in the 70's, the US was pitiful in the world's eyes and the Iranians took a bunch of our folks hostage for over a year. I was so fed up I quit the Army when I had planned a career in it. I was a thug as a teenager and i knew terrorists only respect violent opposition, so my president's fear of bad guys was horrible. Our investment in Iraq is doing a lot of good to protect us and the weak in Iraq. We need to think long term.

All of the Senators and Congressmen were caught on hidden camera tape as pedophiles. They will sign all of our rights away to keep the film a secret.

It makes me sick.

Why can't they use money like that to improve teachers salaries and other educational purposes?

Oh right, our current administration is stricken with down syndrome. How did they get elected again?

We don't really have a choice. But as long as it gets used to keep my brother and cousin(both Marines) alive, I won't complain, too much.
