I don't get it.When I was in school -and even to this day- the people that are popular get worshipped and the people that actually have a nice personality, are the ones that get thrown behind everyone else, and it makes no sense.

Because athletes represent more than just themselves. They represent a jersey with a name on it. People want that name to be reflected in the best light possible and appreciate it when it is so it is only natural when that happens. Another important thing to remember is that women are attracted to guys in shape whcih tend to be those same athletes. Since the beginning of time, women often equal power in the eyes of most men. The athletes tend to have alot of women tucked into their back pocket and most men want women so it's only natural for men to want to be with and like athletes.

People appreciate others who are talented and outgoing. With sports, you usually have to be both those things and that causes people to notice you. I don't think you have to be in sports necessarily to be popular though, but you do have to be outgoing. How else are people going to know you exist and get to know your great personality?

I had a similar concern guy, its because boxing and mma received't be a college interest and isn't any longer the commonly settle for "cool" interest even as your in college, even with if its way tougher and also you would possibly want to kick the shp.c.t out of the football crew. do a touch cool strikes in the front of them and get right into a wrestle or some thing, worked for me.

War/sports does not make one great. Don't worry about others, concern yourself with you. Don't worry about being worshiped. Be true to God and your self.
