ten thousand dollars in pennies, any ideas?

I really do need 10,000 in pennies. not a joke.

Get a good paying job, work long hours and do nothing, spend no money, save up. Then go to the bank with your $10,000 and ask them if you can get that back in pennies.

I do want to make it clear, since you did not indicate why you want them, that no one needs to accept them in payment for anything.
There is from time to time a smart-aleck who decided to pay a traffic ticket, or an IRS bill with pennies. Not only do they not have to accep it, but in some cases you can be arrested for frivolity.
No joking, this is serious.
So, do think it over carefully if you had such an idea. It is not original, they have seen everything, and there are laws and rules about this sort of thing.

Wow, thought you meant 10,000 pennies at first, but you want 1,000,000, which would be 20,000 rolls!
Generally you can place special orders with your bank, but 20,000 rolls is a truck load. If you're determined, I'm sure it can be done by talking to the bank and following the channels to get to the right person/department. Not sure how many pennies your service charge will be though.

Go for lots of long walks and always look down. You'd be amazed at how many pennies you can get that way. Also, used chewing gum on your shoes...
