Yahoo toolbar is okay, as long as u use yahoo services. New yahoo toolbar has Norton Antispy. No it won't conflict with anything. On the contrary, more than one spyware protection system is really good for ur pc. As for me, I use ZoneAlarm - Firewall, AVG - Antivirus, Spybot. AdAware SE, Norton Spyware Scan (yahoo toolbar for IE) and Yahoo antispy (yahoo toolbar for Firefox) - Antispywares. So it provides additional protection

Yahoo toolbar recently added a Norton Anti-spyware scan. It seems to do a decent job, but you can get the same or better results by using Adaware SE. You can have as many Anti-Spyware and Trojan removers on your system as you want as long as you use only one of them at a time. So the Yahoo toolbar is safe to use.

However, you should only use one Anti-Virus program as they will conflict with each other. The best on the market is NOD32. It cost about $40.00. It is much better than some of the ones you have probably heard about like Norton or Zone Alarm. NOD32 is fast, effective, and it won't bog down your system.

Toolbars are a pain in the butt. It's not going to offer you any special protection. The Yahoo Antispy is useless. Just get a solid Antivirus and one or two good antispyware programs.

I tend to agree, the yahoo tool bar is a pain .....but if you have yahoo the features like your bookmarks will not work without the toolbar! You should still install another spy ware detector though go to download .com and pick the one that suits your needs! Peace!
