I never knew of a grocery store that sold them. We used to just shoot them and skin them ourselves. Don't eat the ones in hickory trees they taste bad.

regular squirrels are not available for sale, you can purchase pigmy flying squirrels however you do need a special permit in most areas to own one. You may want to check with your local authority before purchasing such an animal. If you can purchase one you will want to go to a specialty pet shop and have them order one for you. Depending on where you live if you live in the great lakes area you can see if they can order one from Apet.

A squirrel is a wild animal. You should not have one. Squirrels also can transmit rabbies. Why in the world do you want a squirrel for a pet? Get you a rabbit. (but they still need their shots).

First i would see if it is legal where you llive, then I would call around to pet stores that specialize in exotic pets.

they are all over, but why would you want one?? get a gerbil instead, they all poop and eat the same. I let my dogs eat the squirrels here
