I just read a question earlier that made me think of this and now I am really curious...Why is it okay for a man to go to a strip club but if his wife wants to go look at hot sweaty half naked guys he's all of a sudden not okay with it? I am speaking from my own experience with my husbands bachelor party and my bachelorette party...he was all set to have strippers at his party until I said that I was going to too and then he freaked out and said I couldn't. Same thing happened to a friend of mine who likes to look at naughty videos, her fiance got mad about it even though he is guilty too. Funny how guys are so defensive about being able to fantasize about naked women but when the real women in lives want to think about hotter, more in shape, sexier guys they get the same insecurities woman do. Any thoughts on why there is such a stupid double standard?

thats the way its been since the beginning of time but think about this if my husband of 15 yrs says he's going to a strip club he will go without his penis because im going to cut it off and mount it and im not even playing . men think they can get by with it because some women don't stand up but lets stand up if they want to see a women strip take him in the bedroom and strip if he doent like that and thats not good enough than kick his *** to the curb

Because us guys willact upon our thoughts without thinking anything about it, where the majority of women may think about it but wont act upon it. Guys want things their way and like our caveman ancestors, woman could only cook and take care of the house. Indian braves get their once really beautiful young squaws really fat so other men wont look at them. Its just a matter of what we believe is right and guys really get jealous easy and usually for no apparent reason. Guys also open their mouths easier where women will usually keep theirs shut, I have no idea where I was headed withthis so Ill quit now

I feel this took place over the years and now things have changed and are changing. It used to be the little wife had her place & the man dominated, she depended on him to support her and her family. This gave the man a lot of power & freedom to do as he pleased & not have to worry about the woman. Now women have the same freedoms and rights as men....life is not so secure for them anymore. For some reason they think this is what real men do, but OMG not my significant other!!

Why would you call it double standard. Most of women and men have similar attitude, none of them likes to exposed the other side to temptation. When men or women enjoys watching his/her partner having sex with others is called fetish about 5% are accepting such fetish.
