From the start there has been no real plan in Iraq, it has all been fly by the seat of Bush's pants. In contrast in the first Gulf War George Bush Sr. had a plan before he attacked, and a plan on how to get the job done.

You've got to look at the psyche of the man. His upbringing was that of a spoiled brat that didn't receive much attention from mommy and daddy. Has he admitted one single thing that he or his administration has been wrong about yet? Nope. Just one arrogant, clueless, thing after another. If we were to get out of Iraq our corrupt corporate interests would lose so much friken money that they'd probably have to wait at least another four years to fabricate a racket remotely close to what they have now. The plan was to go in, take over, and control the oil there by some means as yet to be determined. Originally they did have plans, but they were all rejected by rummy in order to keep this racket/occupation an open ended affair. So disgusted I don't know what else to say....Read RemyD's answer

The plan was to get Saddam out and a democracy in and its happening. Its just liberals like you that are completely clueless to the plan.

Democrats just want to leave Iraq because our troops continue to get shot at periodically by insurgents and dont want democracy to succeed in Iraq. Probably because that would be a victory for the US and they cant handle success by the Bush administration.

ACtually if you want to rip on anyone, rip on HW Bush because he cut and run early too and didnt even get rid of Saddam and hes been a thorn in our side ever since defying UN security council resolutions and hiding chemical weapons.

Throughout history we have seen people of vision who elected to stay the coarse. This kind of tenacity often pays off. Certainly GWB's attitude to stay the coarse has profound affects on the terrorists.

The terrorists believe the American people are weak and stupid, especially when the democrats come out and share the stage with the enemy and his philosophy, about the war. They believe the US will capitulate because they have got the liberals in the US ready to re-employ the Clinton doctrine of let diplomacy do it's job.

People like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln would have changed the coarse of history had they not stayed the coarse. I believe the other path would have been devastating to our ancestors, had it been taken.

GWB could very well go down in history as a hero of our times. He could be characterized as a man who stood his ground under adverse conditions; a man of courage who stood alone and saved our nation from further attack from the terrorists, the same people who attacked our country on 9/11.

Because no matter what we do the Islamo-fascist are not going to stop trying to kill Americans or stop trying to destroy our way of life.
If any Bush bashers know of some other way to deal with these maniacs I would be glad to hear it. So far all I have heard is criticism but no alternative solutions.

"Don't need a plan, we just need to be at war with somebody, somewhere, before the elections..."

"You're either with us or against us"

"God, Mr. Dobson tells me, is on our side."

The rudder my friend, lies in the Sunday morning religious rhetoric and their bank accounts.

That's a really good question. Do you think he knows how wrong he is and is just trying to not let the public know how bad he messed up, or is he really just that stupid?
