TWENTY years ago? U2 were around then, but I don't think Bono was doing any duets.

Do you mean "When Stars Go Blue" with that chick from The Corrs? That was out three or four years ago.

OMG!

Look...

First, it's spelled Bono.

Second, yes, he is with the band U2.

Third... A "female singer"... could you be anymore vague???

U2/Bono duets:
"In a Lifetime" Maire Brennan (from Clannad)
"When Love Comes to Town" w/ B.B. King
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Live 8)" w/ Paul McCartney
"One" w/ Mary J. Blige
"Don't Give Up" (Bono) w/ Alicia Keys
"I've got you under my skin" (Bono) w/ Frank Sinatra
"Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door" w/ Bob Dylan
"Don't Come Knocking" with Andrea from The Corrs
"In a Little While" w/ Brandon Flowers

Could it have been a Bono & Sinead O'Connor duet? They did a few.
