Lighten the rear end (no interior, no spare, etc.), slap a couple donuts on the rear axle, and excessively use the Ebrake. If you really want to drift though, sell the Civic and buy an old 240SX.

Honda civics are front wheel and in order for a car to truly drift it needs to be a rear wheel drive.

its harder than rwd but all you need to do is about half way into the turn yank that ebrake and then drop it again real quick, turn the wheel the other way and then yank that thing again....you can just leave it up but you better have a high revving engine and/or some power to hold the drift...no matter what don't let go of the gas if you want to drift (you may even lose control if you let go of the gas)...its easy to powerslide but drifting is a different art...its harder to do with fwd but it can be done and it has been done..

here's fun. at the honda dealership i work at about 2 years ago we took a POS civic and went to the mall parking lot late at night after we stole McDonalds Food Trays.
We take the Food Trays, line them up with the Rear Wheels, then back the car onto them, then engage the parking brake!
Just giver!!!! you'll know when the tray is worn through
Wicked Fun!!!!! lol

try throwing it into reverse and hope u have the skills to drift going backwards, cuz thats the only way to make a civic drift, heres a tip: try getting a car that is actually fast before you try to do stuff w/ it.

Convert it to rear wheel drive. Or just put on some really bald tires on the rear and pull the hand brake.

ppl argue that ff cars dont drift. which they dont. so wut u need to do is somehow make it rear wheel drive. i suggest have a acura rl swap into ur car with rl tranny and axels. the rl has a do-hicky or sumkind of lsd thing that makes the axels act as four wheel drive.
