I just finished building a new gaming computer.

A8N-E Asus Motherboard
Biostar Egate GeForce 6600GT PCI-E video card
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ 939
Linksys wireless-G PCI adapter with speedbooster network card
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
Seagate 320G SATA hard drive
52x CD SATA driver
Antec Neo HE 500w power suply

I have installed all up-to-date drivers. The only driver in question is the network card. I could only find one that would work. I start playing any online game though and it plays great for about 5-10 min. then computer just shuts down in the middle of the game. Sometimes it turns back on by itself after a few seconds. Other times I have to turn it back on myself. Never got any error message or anything after turning it back on though. One time even punched desk after about 5 minutes of it shutting off on me and it just turned back on itself. Check power connections in and out of computer can not find any bad.

Can anyone help me?

I know it is not over heating I have it running at 30C try getting most computer to run at that.

I know it is not the game becouse I have many friend that play game also and do not have this problem.

Already tryed reinstalling windows. did not help any.

Not a virus it is a brand new computer.

I have one gig of memory so I would say it is not that. I will get more just in case though.

You need fans and other cooling devices to cool PC parts that are overheating.

To validate my suggestion - try opening up your CPU chassis and temporarily use an electric fan to cool off your system.

It might be your power supply. Try to detach power cables attached to extra drives or CD Rom if you installed more than one. then try to load your game and observe.

If everything runs smoothly, then consider upgrding your power supply.

I had this same problem when I started reconfiguring my PC to run with high capacity SATA hard drive.

it's not cuz of computer, could be because the online game is accessing(writing) data to memory space used by windows, that would cause your computer to restart
