Sometimes I feel that I don't tip enough (especially when I get those funny looks) and other times I feel like I over tip.
How much would you give for:
1.manicure-
2.manicure & pedicure-
3.lip & eyebrow wax-
4.haircut & blowout-
5.highlights, haircut & blowout-
6.manicure, pedicure, lip & eyebrow wax (all done by same person)-

depends on the price...the way you were treated and if you were happy. generally i get 20 % at least of my services. I am a hairstylist. If i do color for 100$ i usually get tipped 20 to 30 in a tip. if i do a 10$ eye brow wax 2$ is plenty. All depends on what you pay for the service in the first place. Then occasionally..i do get that client that doesnt have it ..or just doesnt know how to tip and i will get 1$ for a haircut and blowdry 30$ . Get a tip card. It can help and you wont feel bad:)

1-6) 15-20% of what they charge for the service.
Remember, they have to make a living, pay for the beauty supplies, pay for the space they rent, and fair is fair. If you like what they did, tip on the high side. You will be remembered well. I know my manicurist did some special things on two different occasions for me (at no extra cost!) and I think it was because I had been good to her with my tips. It is the right thing to do...that's why.

Tip 15% for all of those.
But, if service is especailly good and you want her to do it that way again in the future - I would tell her you are very pleased and give her 20 - 25% tip.
