No because its fake. I believe you have to actually meet someone and feel a connection b/c if you dont then its not really a realtionship. Plus how are u ever gonna see each other and how do u know that the person will stay with the commitment its hard enough to find someone in person that will stick with commitment let alone someone that lives far away. and the person u might find might not be the person they say they are.

i think that online relationships are really stupid because there's way more to having a girlfriend than just talking online and leaving comments, talking is like half of it, but the other half is going out on dates and having fun in person. how the hell are you gonna kiss ur girl friend online? with a graphic. get a girlfriend that goes to your school or lives near you so you can have an actual relationship and not a stupid myspace one, tell your friend that too.

If people weren't so untrustworthy, then it'd be a great idea, except for the fact that you would never even be able to see her. I say that because she could go off and date you and another dude so, yea, not a good idea.

Not much point, really, unless you enjoy visiting over the net with someone who may not be who they say they are. The only way you would know is if you meet them in person.
