i mean if football was done by football it would be set rules, that would solve a lot, death would be baisicly eliminated, it would destroy the need for nuclear weapons, n the victor would still receive what they most likely went to war for, money and power. football is usually reffered to in a military way, qb a.k.a field general, the qb threw a bomb down field. they are advancing into enemy territory, all teams want a strong air attack as well as ground attack etc..., has neone ever thought about this before?

Team sports have often been characterized as a way to sublimate war-like aggressive tendencies.

Trying to apply rules to war however doesn't work. We're supposed to be the good-guys in the U.S. and we aren't following rules that the civilized world has agreed to for decades.

Better to have the chief executive of each country fight one-on-one, put it on pay-for-view. Give the money paid to the country who wins, and the country that looses can elect a new chief executive.

Realistically, If war was fought as a football game, the team with the richest sponsors would buy out the refs before the game to secure a win, & the coin flipped would be double sided. In the real world, it isn't about "war". It's about money, power, & dominating your opponent in any way possible to secure your people's future & advancement. Unfortunately it's not a "football game" type world, It's capitalistic & ruthless carnage on the global field when true war occurs, but the fact that this is done to keep us living says something about our government.
