Okay, there are many arguements that the "phantom" is not real just something that came out of Gaston Leurox's head, but awhile ago they found a skeleton in The Paris Opera House catacombs...so it is up to you to decide whether you believe or not...but I think you should read the book..it is really great

You should see the stage play to see the full version. The music is loud and vibrates through you. It kicks a **. You would love it.

It isnt a true atory it is from a novel but I do agree with you it is a great movie and I have seen the play and it is great too
