Either save it as a GIF or JPG and view or else do this:
Open the file you want. Hit the Print Screen button on the keyboard. Open the paint program. Click on Edit and then Paste. You have now pasted a picture of the file (and your desktop) into the paint program. Cut out the part of the image you want, open a new paint program file, past the image into that and adjut it the way you want it. Don't bother saving the paint file you copied to in the beginning.
Open a program like HP Photo Smart, open from files the new bitmap you just created it, do any adjusting if you want, and then save it as a JPG.
I'm not sure I've addressed the exact thing you want to do, but what's above are some ideas just in case they're at all helpful in what you're trying to do.

Cut and paste the document into a picture editing program like Adobe Photoshop. Then save it as a graphic, GIF, JPG, BMP, PSD, the list is endless.
