Did you have a role model growing up? How did this person affect you?

Personally, I never had a role model growing up. So I'm just curious about those who did.

Yes, I had a neighbor who was ten years older than me. She had gone to college, and helped me decide that was what I wanted to do after high school. She is an amazing woman, and I am in touch with her to this day.
