I like your question, very good- substance induced or not Lol

But I don't think so though to be honest, I used to have a neighbour who's friends little girl was blind. She could not grasp the concept of colour or understand it in anyway so they used to describe colours to her through touch, they would say heat (radiators etc) were red- cold (ice etc) was blue- soft (cotton wool etc) was white, and so on.

I guess to imagine something, you would have to have taken an idea from somewhere in the first place- Say like being asked to imagine a new type machine that could fly, you would get your basic ideas from birds, kites, planes, etc to get your final idea/result- you need some sort of "base" if you had never seen any of these things, you wouldn't have a clue what it was exactly you were looking for- let alone how to do it, if you get me Lol

So no, if you do not have a "base" to start from in the first place of something you have never seen, or have any idea about, how can you possibly imagine it, especially if it cannot be physically felt :o)

Im noticeably specific each a probability colour ever which you are able to imagine has been seen. i became into purely thinking approximately that the different day, "an entire new colour." in line with probability there's a colour that is going previous mind's eye that the human innovations can not compute..You on no account understand.

There are actually way more colours than our brain can percieve. We don't know if something is really yellow because that's just how our brain is interpreting the wavelengths from it. Bees can see ultraviolet light which means they actually can see more colours than we can. We will not ever know what ultra-violet looks like because our brain can't interpret it and we can never imagine what we cannot ever percieve.
well i'm sounding like i'm trippin on acid so i will stop trying to explain (lol)

I'm pretty sure it would be impossible. It would be akin to trying to explain to someone what the difference between green and blue is when they use the same word for both(don't remember any specific languages, but I know there are a few).

It is...just not very easy. When I can't sleep sometimes, I'll think about something that has never existed before, it's a lot harder than it sounds. Something nobody has ever heard of.

Maybe color is one of those things that you would never know existed if you didnt see it for yourself.

Blind people cannot imagine color!

i think its impossible for a human mind to imagine a new color, because we only see one spectrum, the rainbow of colors we see everyday. if there were to be a new color, it would have to be part of a new spectrum. that would be so cool

No i dont think it is - another good question could be, "If you could invent a new colour, what would you call it?"
