Divorce is the process whereby the second party (one spouse) to an agreement (marriage contract) sues the third party (their spouse) for dissolution of the agreement. The first party (the State) remains attached to them both and has final say in the disjoined second and third parties intercourse after the divorce is granted by a judicial proceeding. It cannot be done "on-line".
A statutory marriage (the type made with a marriage license) is a three party contract which is only partially severable.

Actually, YES!! You need to use a search engine and just type in "Divorce Online" and the state in which you reside. If it is possible in your state, you can guarantee that there will be lawyers who offer that service online. Just make sure that you are getting an attorney who will do all the work for you, not just someone who will do the forms for you and make you go to the court to file them - you can do that on your own for free!
I am filing myself next month using a service in PA. I live in Florida, but because my ex still lives there and fulfills the residency requirements, I can file there.
