I think their un-constitunal. The currant drug laws are designed to protect the stupid, from themselves. If dumb people die from over doses of, crack, smack, or what ever. They will not reproduce, which means no more dumb, stupid kids, for the rest of us to have to deal with, when they grow-up. There's another good reason to legalize drugs, all drugs. The goverment could tax the hell out of them, and maybe just maybe, balance the budget.

Keeping drugs illegal creates more problems than it solves. Making drugs legal eliminates the drug cartels and the dealers. Tax them and create revenue, you're right.

When are people ever going to get their minds right?

There will be more and more problems as the users of drugs will increase. And it will increase if it becomes legal. The government does protect us from ourselves, and people who function in the society now, the 'dumb' ones, but law fearing ones, will become addicted, and will not function in society. Legalizing the drugs will not have any good effect on the society.

I agree with you about making too much a stink about pot. It is less dangerous then smoking. They waste too much money on arrests, court, and jail. If they made it legal they could tax it and make a mint. Maybe they could lower our taxes.
It is just a tactic to force us to have more goverment control. Too many people would lose jobs.
There would be less drug murders, too.

They're insane. They don't work. They create a massive criminal class. They waste taxpayers' money on needless law enforcement and prisons.

desipte your somewhat darwinian assesment, I agree. government oversteps it's bounds when it attempts to regulate the private lives of its citizens, esspecially when it doesn't directly harm other induviduals in society. of course, much like drunk driving, irresponsible or reckless drug use should be punishible by law.

They are stupid, useless and work for the government, keeping people in jail and 'employed'-- in a way...
perhaps even keeping the masses sedated.
