Right Click on the volume icon on the task bar ,then click on open volume controls and then options,and then properties.Select play back and check the pc speaker.wave and volume control icons,press ok and uncheck the mute box on the new volume controllers.
If this is a driver problem consider updating your drivers.

No. bypass into the administration panel and click the SOUND icon. it is the place maximum of your sound settings are placed. in case you have any soundboard utility put in, open that utility up. There often unique settings and purposes available in that utility.
