I discovered what God "is" and the path to heaven and they have nothing whatsoever to do with religion...any "serious ideas" ? no losers with no integrity just trying to gain points.. only the commited I deam worthy of such knowledge ,will give the secret by the quality of your answers...for me i stake my life on this, i have been living on cloud 9 since i found out and totally with the flow of creation and the laws of attraction for whatever i want.
I do not take fools lightly, prove to me your are worthy to know and what you will do with the information once you get it!

I think you are right. I don't think God is religion either. I think religion is the creation of man to try to understand God. God by whatever name you call it is still God. I think religion gets in the way of understanding God. Just live you life with honor and kindess and you'll be ok.

You are correct in my opinion. Religion is man made. I really not care about the 10 points, that like money, God will provide. But, When I found Jesus I was on cloud 9. What was so, interesting about this was what God said in the Bible; and men used to prove the natural laws of creation, plus many were made rich as we all know from the discovery of oil and Noah's Ark. :-) and other things found in God's Word. Really wild I thought. Then when I understood the Prophecy of the coming of Jesus 480 years before it happened.......WOW!!! Then I knew how the Wise men understood the Star!! Ain't God fun? Well my opinion! Yes, glad you understand and see this, but, do not tell. There is no reason to cast your Pearls to the Swine/Pigs; Matthew 7:6 they just trample it. Best to keep this knowledge among the Children of God.

I can't even understand half of what you are trying to say, but of course god has nothing to do with religion. If there even were a god that existed beyond the imaginations of countless people, it's people that create religions, not god. If god were religion, or had anything to do with it, you can damn sure bet there would be one religion the world over, not the billions that have existed throughout history.

God is whatever to each person. God is $ and hopefully a "higher position" in heaven to a person who runs a church or tries to make himself the center of a religion. Humility and hard work is what we all need. Let's think of ourselves as equals. The Bible is mostly a compilation of examples of what not to do in life, or what people have done in the past that we cannot possibly do again. It has not as much to do with what we can do if we put our minds and hearts in the right place(without fear and shame and pride and ulterior motives) and love one another. God is God. Religion is about exerting control over the masses in the name of God. You're right, they are not the same. However, the latter has its foundation bulit upon the assumption that the former exists.
In this sense, Religion has everything to do with "God" but God has nothing to do with Religion.

Religion is man-made. Our "Higher Power" whom I chose to call God, is real. He exist in every country. I lived in Indonesia for 4 years and had a Christmas dinner at my house for a Muslim, Buddhist, Catholic and guess what???? We all told the same story about a messenger (called different names by all) that spread the word about their God, (called different names by all). There was even a Moses story amongst us that blew us all away!!! The stories are basically the same, the names are different......Wild huh???

Well, God is part of many religoins. In Christianity, God and Jesus are the base of almost every variation. We try as hard as we can to try to be like God and Jesus. Some of the main points are that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, that He resurected, the 10 commandments given by God, etc. I don't know how in the world you got that.
