My husband and I tried for almost five years to get pregnant. After months and months of heartache and watching our friends and family members have baby after baby while we still sat at home with empty arms, I'm now 12 weeks pregnant. We tried fertility meds and tried to time everything along with charting temps and basically just driving ourselves crazy over the matter. I know a lot of people tell you to just relax and I know you think it's way too hard to do. BUT believe me when I say, it's the best possible thing you can do. Try to get pregnant by listening to your body but DO NOT obsess over it. I had been off the fertility drugs for almost six months and had basically given up for the month that I got pregnant. I was just going about my business when I felt what I realized was ovulation pain and I just happened to "be in the mood". I grabbed hubby and hit the sheets and two weeks later found out I was pregnant.
RELAX!!!

If you smoke, quit! Also the two of you should be a healthy weight. If you are too skinny or too fat you may have a hard time getting pregnant. He also needs to be a healthy weight because studies have shown when a man has a lot of belly fat, his body will produce less testosterone. Also make sure you are not drinking too much alcohol. Many women stop when they get pregnant but it's good to stop before. It is also a fact that men produce more and faster sperm late in the afternoon.

Besides visiting a fertility doctor, how about some home remedy ideas? Have you purchased a kit at the drug store so you know when you ovulate? Trying on days when you are ovulating will increase your chances. Also, you might take a couple teaspoonfuls of Robitussin on days you try. I don't know the reason this works for some couples, but it does. I think the biggest thing you could try is to not think about it for a couple months. Many couples get pregnant when they aren't so uptight and trying so hard. Try to relax and NOT try for a couple months. It might work!

You need to know wnen you ovulate to increase your chances of conception!
The only way for you to know if and when you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate

Before my husband and I had our baby girl, we had been trying to conceive for 17 1/2 months. I stressed A LOT about it. We had a talk about trusting in the Lord instead of ourselves to conceive and just relaxing about the whole ordeal. And I have to tell you the day we conceived was the very next day after we had that talk. It was amazing!!! Also if you try to have sex with a pillow under you with him on top, and you stay in that position after sex, that gives a direct pathway for the spermy's to where they need to go. Stay in that position for 15-30 minutes. It helps :) God bless..

Get an ovulation predictor kit. When the time is right in your cycle, grab your hubby and say: honey, its time. Then maybe 9 months later you'll be saying the same thing only it will be because baby is coming.
Eat well, get plenty of rest and don't stress. See a obgyn to talk about this further.

get yourself started on some vitamins and relax, try not to stress about becoming pregnant, and it should come naturally.
you could also pay a visit to the Dr. to rule out any underlying problems you may not be aware of.
