I've tried everything, I don't leave food out BTW, I pour bleach down my drains, I tried fly paper (but I guess that only works for the big flies) What else can I do?

The idea is not to get any more fruit flies!
The ones that you do have will eventually die off! In the mean time you can do what my mom did! She sprayed Tilex on all the window screens and left the windows opened and had everyone leave the house for 6 hours! When we came back there was not one fruit fly alive and we never saw anymore after that!

Try using a jar with a small paper funnel with a piece of banana at the bottom, the flies will be attracted to the banana and only lay their eggs there. Continuously every day or so depending on how many flies are caught inside, get rid of it and continuously repeat the process. There will be several times to do this before they are gone. An average fruit flies lays about 400 or more eggs at one time and takes a week to hatch....maybe in a couple or more weeks, that should solve your problem. It is better than dangerous chemicals.

By getting rid of the fruit. Or unless you have them because of plants. They sometimes come from plants that the soil has soured in. That's all I know. That's the only place they come from as far as I know. In the case of plants, get rid of them unless they are really important, then you have to change the soil and clean the roots really well before replanting. If they are coming from your drain I've heard that they do that too you can spray bug spray down the drain, maybe some vinegar, B. soda and bleach to get it all around the pipes. good luck.

They breed and adapt to insecticides particularly instantly so that you would possibly want to wind up in simple terms chasing your tail to be in a position to communicate. i understand you suggested the homestead is sparkling, yet double examine some issues. they prefer some thing sweet no longer in simple terms fruit. So be particular each and every thing is wiped down, no choc. syrup or the different sugary substance out or spilled everywhere. floor mopped trash emptied. garbage disposal sparkling. even with each and every thing that attempt this. cover the kitchen drain with plastic wrap so it isn't an option for them and capture them some position else. Take a huge glass and positioned some apple cider vinegar in the bottom then make a funnel out of paper to position contained in the glass be particular there's a small hollow on the bottom of the cone(funnel) and then tape around the right so it makes a seal The flies will be quite in touch in the vinegar and unable to get out via cone. they in simple terms are not that smart i guess yet this works. good luck they're such pains.

The best way I have found is to put a rotting fruit in a plastic grocery bag and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then grab the bag and close it, trapping as many of the flies as possible. Repeat numerous times. GOOD LUCK!

I have a spray bottle of vinegar and water. When I see them buzzing around my sink I spritz my sink and the counter tops. The vinegar is fairly strong. It works great! I don't leave food out either and I noticed them in the tracking of my patio door too. So I sprayed my windows and no more fruit flies.

I asked an exterminator this a few weeks ago. He told me to put a glass with apple cider vinager and a few drops of dishsoap on the counter in your kitchen. He said the apple cider vinager attracts them and the dishsoap coats their wings so they can't fly out. It may take a few days but it really does work. Good luck
