Hey--you should be thanking the guy! The republicans can slap some unknown on the ballot down there, but basically the Dem is a shoe in. Not the way you'd like to see a six-term incumbent go away, but it doesn't suprise me in the least!!

It probably will cost the Republicans the seat. I have a hard time with people, like you, who link his disgusting behavior with being a Republican. Let's not forget that a Democrat President, not so long ago, took advantage of an intern in the Oval Office, many times. He not only refused to resign, but lied about it to the very end. Was his OK because he took advantage of a female instead of a male?

to scotty: It is too late for republicans to put another on the ballot in that district.

Democrats now only need to win 15 of the 18 republican seats that are toss ups now. Foley will be replace by a democrat, unless most voters writein a republican.

It will cause them to lose that seat, for sure.
At least Foley is resigning.
Clinton should have, but instead tried lying out of it.
But his lying cost the Democrats, dearly.

If the man is guilty I would rather lose a seat than have him represent us.That said you still have to beat a different candidate.
