Putting in hold while you are playing your music makes it saves battery when you are still listening. It is even better to put in hold when you are not listening because it can save the battery

I believe putting it on hold is better and saves more battery. Thats what I do.

It is a rechargeable battery. just plug it in again if you are worried about it. Don't need to play with the switch. I don't think there is a noticeable difference in current draw anyway between hold and not anyway..

it helps save the battery cause if you touch it it wont have to light up the screen which cause the battery to go down

it saves whan you put it on hold, and change the EQ (under settings) to none.
