they come home late from work
they seem disinterested in what you are saying
they always go out with the guys and you home alone
they forget important dates
they rubberneck other women
most of the time they will talk about how crappy their relationship is with their friends.
If you live together they refuse to help with the housework
they dont buy you anything
they dont care where you are going and with who you are with
they will tell you they just need some space

The telltale signs are disinterest in the other person, hesitancy to talk about the other person, a faraway look in the eyes when with the other person, if unmarried they may find excuses not to be around the other person, easily distracted when in conversation with the other person, etc.
Basically you can tell when the romance is gone by their interactions with that person and how they talk about that other person they are in the relationship with.

I would say...
Detached or disconnected behaviors. Disinterest in conversation, no desire for intimacy...perhaps spending less time around the person they are in the relationship with. Change in routine that leans more toward how a single person would function....and, even creating contact and connections with others in place of their significant other! (Some times that includes cheating on the person they are with too).

Either from the bored, faraway looks, the constant eye-rolling, and the fact that he drools over your younger sister! These might be clues...
If he does not stay on the phone with you long, if he doesn't up-hold his part of the conversation you were having, if he looks and smiles at other girls..., need I go on?
If you have to ASK the question, my guess is you already know but do not want to admit it.

From the outside looking in or the inside looking out? From inside, no eye contact, no affection, smart remarks, stuff like that. From the outside in, putting down his girl, being into another girl with looks and conversation, talking about problems, stuff like that.
