Denzel Washingtons acting is worth veiwing no matter what the movie or rating

This was a great movie!!!
"John Quincy Archibald's son Michael collapses while playing baseball as a result of heart failure. John rushes Michael to a hospital emergency room where he is informed that Michael's only hope is a transplant. Unfortunately, John's insurance won't cover his son's transplant. Out of options, John Q. takes the emergency room staff and patients hostage until hospital doctors agree to do the transplant."

lol im glad you asked this because i have john q on dvd and i have seen it 8 times. Holy crap i love the movie. Its emotional and funny as hell at the same time. I memorized the movie from begnning to the end. Go John Q was hilarious as hell

As a parent, you feel the frustration and fright that John Q is going through. It is emotional and scary. Great movie!

it's about a desperate dad that loves his son so much! it's a very touchy feely movie! a movie about fatherly love! that's something we don't see much on the cinema nowadays!
denzel was marvellous in the movie! i would do the same if i'm in his shoes! how far can a father goes to save his kid's life?
5 stars for the movie & storyline and another 10 stars for denzel!!!

Its basically a movie about a father who would do atything for his son including holding people in a hospital hostage to make sure his son gets a heart transplant

the guy is a great actor....you should watch it
