I got a lot of mixed reviews from my friends about the movie Open Water. Me, I kinda liked it. What did you think?

I liked it very much. I recommeneded it to someone and they got pissed off, thought it to be horrible.

I thought it was fabulous. The writing was great -- perfect conversations between the couple at every point. I really like how different it is from most movies I've seen. To me that was a plus, but to some it would be a negative.
I understand why many people would not like it bc it has a bit of an arty feel to it. So don't recommend it to people who mainly like summer blockbusters and think Vin Diesel is the best actor around. Those people are, to quote another great movie I recently saw, philistines.

I did not want to see it after I heard what it was about - I like to be entertained by a movie - I like to laugh & cry - not be totally horrified! Jaws was the perfect shark bite movie. Don't you think so?

it is one of those movies that tell you exactly what to do in that certian situation. me..it was scary, but i liked it maybe a love story or something. 2 out of 5 stars

I liked it, although hadn`t heard or read anything about it and expected her to get rescued at the end...haunting film.

I didn't like the way it ended but it was pretty good.
I wouldn't rent it again!
