Hi I am 9 weeks pregnant. Why is it that in my 6-7 week ultrasound I saw arms and legs and stuff like that. It was really neat. Then in my 9 weeks ultrasound today it looks more like a large blob than a baby like it did in previous ultrasounds. Why is that? Why do they look less like a baby now then before?

We can't be sure, but I'd say the baby had more room in there and the arms & legs were moving around more. The second time, the baby was more in a typical fetal position, all tucked in. It could just be that the baby was asleep during the 2nd one, and awake during the 1st one.

very early in pregnancy they do a close up on the ultrasound because the baby is so small as you get farther along the won't do it because the baby gets bigger .
example like your fooling around on the computer and your on microsoft works and you have an object on the screen at 100% size then you click on it to increase by 100% or even more then object gets bigger thats what they did for your first ultrasound so they could see better i hope i explained in a detail way wouldn't really sure of how to put it

I don't know. With my 1st son He looked like a blob at 9 weeks. But my 2nd son I saw him kicking and everything. The doctor didn't seem to think it was unusual though. Congrats!

Possibly because you had more room in you during the earlier weeks. Now that you are 9 weeks along, the baby is kinda more squished in the womb, and details will be a little harder to make out.

It is all about how the baby is posistioned. His or her back could have been to the camera. It looks different everytime. Arms and legs were probably just facing your back.

It's bigger honey and the parts are harder to discern. That's all. Don't worry. Been there, done that.
