Not necessarily. Some people enjoy shopping and it makes them feel good to buy things. The only time it becomes a problem is when you can't stop or spend above your means. That's when it becomes a problem.

Seriously, there are people who shop for that high and then they get in big trouble financially. I have thought about this alot because it makes me so happy to buy stuff! May be something else is missing that a person needs to get a mood lifter. Loneliness? Depression? Or some sort of imbalance?

Yes I'm the same way too. But then I hit rock bottom like I am now. I have shopped all week and I don't have anything to do but eat cheesecake. That's getting boring too.

No, not at all. I call shopping retail therapy. Just as with any therapy, retail therapy makes you feel better!! Shop away.
