well, both is very important, but i'll have to say smelling good, i mean what is the fun in cuddling someone with soft skin, but smells like a pig that rolled around in a sewer, ate horse poo and sweats? (i HATE the smell of SWEAT!)

Smelling good. Soft skin is only good if someone touches you. Smelling bad means no one will want to be in the same room as you.

What constitutes "smelling good" differs from one person to the next. Soft skin is a constant.

Smelling good... Rough skin is not as offensive as Bad Odor... And I'm not forced to feel the person sitting next to me's skin. But I am forced to smell the person sitting next to me. And if a person stinks, I probably wouldn't want to be close enough to touch the person anyways.
