It sounds like you are using the wrong cosmetics for your face. It may be the wrong colors, it may be the wrong type, or it may be a combination of the two. You can either experiment at home on your own, get a makeover at a department store counter, or try on line virtual makeovers and color suggestions.
At home:
For face makeup, skip the concealer. Get an all-in-one foundation to powder compact. Try a light weight one first, I like Physician's Formula. To match the color, hold the bottle or compact next to the inside of your wrist.
Blush should match your skin's natural undertones. If you aren't sure what they are, here's a simple at home test. Wearing a white or black shirt, look at your face in the mirror after a workout, or other strenuious activity. Your cheeks will be a brighter color than normal, but in the same tone as normal. Buy a blush as close as you can to match that color. Remember, the darker the skin, the darker the blush, and vice verse.
Eye makeup should be more natural, and less obvious. Try brown/blacks instead of blacks. Sweep a light shade that's close to your skin tone from lash line to brow, then sweep a darker shade over the lid. Draw a thin line of eyeliner, and finish with one or two coats of mascara. Keep Q-tips handy for any fixes.

As for the type of makeup, you should be buying specific formulas for your skin, i.e. dry, oily, normal, or combination. Again, Physician's Formula is great for this, but also try Neutrogena. I love their Healthy Skin line.

If you're fairly attractive, why cover your beauty with a false face? I told my daughter once that she was pretty and that she didn't need to pile on all that makeup, but of course it didn't mean a thing until her fiancee told her the same thing. I think that a little that blends in naturally is better than too much, and trying to keep that painted face consistent on a day to day basis has got to be tough!!

I hope you take this sincerly, I'm 22 and I know very well what it means to be 15..All you really need is a cute tinted gloss, and a nice mascara, took much make up won't make you look older or necessarily more attractive, play up your natural features and enjoy high school. You know when you see those moms picking up their daughters and they have a TON of make-up on, that's the future of the girls you see walking the halls with way too much make up on.

im 15 too, go to a mall, an Este Lauder counter, they will match your foundation color, get liquid, sheer, it covers up well and looks very natural) are you looking for eyeshadow, liner....eyeliner, use a color the same as the outside rim of your eye, but for brown, purple is really pretty, sounds weird, but it looks good, black always works, but don't use that unless you use liquid (it will run and you will look goth) eye shadow, it's not about coloring your eye, but more, countouring it. Mascara is horrible for your eyelashes, only use it if you have to, i find that curling my eyelashes is best and you won't permanently wreck your eyelashes. That's pretty much all you need or you might look like your just playing dress up. As for time, you will get better at it in time, just practice often.

How about a tinted moisturizer for a base? It's not makeup but not totally a moisturizer. It would give you a little color. And light mascara. Lip gloss. That's not over the top.

girl, you are 15. there is no need for you to even wear makeup, but if you must...just keep it simple. use no concealer or foundation, maybe a light powder. use some mascara, but not too much. lip gloss or neutral colored lipstick. you are too young for all that other crap, plus you should just let your natural beauty come out.

try loose powder in a shade of you skin, and a little hint of pink blush with mascara...it's a nice clean look and not too much.
