The only time I report abuse is when someone is talking about having sex with a child. That is the one thing in this world I cannot tolerate, even if it's just on Answers. It's wrong and reporting the perv is the only thing I can do.

The ones I report, I do so because the person is being genuinely ABUSIVE, (hence the word abuse) and neither I nor anyone else has to take that.

I've been on Answers for 4 months and I only reported 9 people.
I reported them cuz they were perverts or racists but I haven't reported anyone in the last month. Now if I see something I don't like I just ignore it!

I report spammers, scammers, threats, questions from adults looking for underage kids and anyone bragging about pedophilia or beastiality. I do it because I don't feel that I have the right to complain about it if I'm not going to do anything about it. Now I can whine with a clear conscience.

never, i've been reported. Nothing happens, they give you a note saying to stop and you go on your merry way. Reporting is for sensitive people I think. If you want to report someone, just tell yourself why they are stupid, ignorant, and pathetic. Or whatever it is that you think of them, rather than thinking that something will actually happen to them.
