If you are breast-feeding that makes you slighty less fertile for a while but it does not last. That's based on statistics. Anything can happen in an individual case.

I think everybody is different. Two months isn't that long!
Some people try for over a year. In fact, doctors will not treat a woman for infertility until they have been trying, with no birth control, for a year (unless she has had no periods in that time, of course).

I think it's possible that you're more fertile after having a baby, but it's still a gamble.... and people don't necessarily get pregnant more quickly the 2nd time.

I didn't.

I don't know if you are more fertile or not, but I got pregnant with my second when my fist was 4 months old. A friend of mine from school had our first babies at the same time(2 days apart) and I saw her at the store 7 weeks later and she was pregnant again!!!

You are definitely more fertile but usually it is right after you deliver...I have a friend who got pregnant within the first month after each of her children...she now has 7 :S

It's probably a case to case basis type of thing, but it's probably not that a woman is more fertile as much as her cervix is not quite as strong as it was before the pregnancy. Also-breast feeding should make you less fertile.

When I had my middle son, which was in August 1999 I got pregnant immediately in September. I had to terminate the pregnancy because it was too soon for me...

As far as I know, a woman is not more fertile after having a child.

Ask a gynecologist.
